DAY 1

I feel like I'm missing pictures, so I have been procrastinating about posting our cruise. But I don't think I am missing some, I've just realized that I didn't take enough.

We left SLC at 1:50 am on Sunday and arrived in Miami at 10:45 am. Red eye flights suck. But the sunrise in Atlanta was pretty.

We were meeting some of our best friends in Miami that were flying in from Alaska so we just waited at their gate for an hour and a half until they arrived. I was excited to hang out with them all week but nervous about going on a cruise, I've never been on one so it was such an unknown. We got to the port and one of my high school friends that now lives in Miami met up with us and we hung out for about 15 minutes. It was too short but fun to see her.

After long lines, we finally got on and headed to our room to check them out and we also got rooms right next to our friends. sweet. And we took the bonus sky miles and upgraded to a balcony room. So worth it and I don't think we could ever go back to an "inside" room.

First meal (didn't take long to jump to that milestone) and watching as Miami got smaller. BTW, it rained in Miami for most of the day but when your on a cruise ship with no kids, who cares!




I was pretty tired from flying and no sleep so it seemed like an endless wait for dinner, we chose the 8:15 dinner. We stuffed ourselves, went to karaoke and I sang "friends in Low Places" by Garth Brooks for all our ship friends and then off to bed.
