For those of you living in UT, do you have a restaurant you recommend? Last night Ryan and I went on a date and ate at Brick Oven, the food was just mediocre. Waste of calories and kind of a waste of money. (sorry Teresa!) We usually eat at like Red Robin or Los Hermanos, which I don't like the later either. (again Teresa, I'm sorry!) And that is because we have different taste in food and can't agree. Just wondering if you know of a jewel of a place you recommend. Thanks and I'll let you know if we end up giving it a try.
And by the way, Brick Oven is in the heart of Provo, right by BYU for those of you who didn't know, and last night I realized I am so glad I don't associate with BYU ites on a daily basis anymore. I sometimes find BYU students nauseating.

All of the places I love are in Salt Lake. If you like Mexican food, there is a great restaurant down town SLC. It's called Blue Iguana. It's super authentic and we love it. We also love Tepanyaki. The prices for the regular meals are kind of high, but if you like sushi, they have a great sushi bar for good prices.
There is a Mexican joint in Payson called La Hacienda that we really like. We also love Cafe Rio & Ruby River. Wingers is also a nice alternative.
Obviously you probably wont trust my taste in restaurant BUT have you ever tried Jason's Deli? We didn't ever try it there, but we have here and we love it (there is one in Orem). Plus, they have a low cal section on the menu which helps it be a less waste of calories if you don't like it! There are also some really good digs here, so you should come and visit and we will give you a taste of REAL Mexican food:cP
Your taste buds are obviously still adjusting...Problem with having lived somewhere with good food! ;)
I always find eating out a disappointment nowadays though. Even here..
dave and i usually eat at p.f. changs, macaroni grill, rumbi grill, or costa vida. last week we went to pizzeria 712(where we went) and we really liked that. once Rubios opens in american fork, we will be driving up there for that!
we aren't too picky, which is why we feel satisfied in provo/orem.
Just have to agree about the BYUites. I am soooooooo glad I graduated from the U. Sorry I don't have any suggestions for eating out. I try to avoid the Provo area.
I would agree with Pizzeria 712 - yummy. I also love Macaroni Grill, PF Changs, and Tepanyaki. If you are up for the drive to Salt Lake, we LOVE Thaifoon, Happy Sumo and Market Street Grill.
Kelly and I really enjoy Biaggi's (it's in the Gateway). Also Ruby Tuesdays, Iggy's, Outback, and Kelly's favorite Texas Road House. I don't like eating out much, but Kelly is eating out every day. You should talk to him about some suggestions he may know about.
Hands down the best restaurant is Carrabba's. But your have to get the right thing. My fav is the Chicken Marsala w/o mushrooms (usually comes with),garlic potatoes and caesar salad. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Actually it's the only thing I ever get when I go. So yummy!
Try Cafe Madrid! In Salt Lake. They have delicious Hamon Serrano and a nice mediterranean menu. Lots of Sea Food. You would probably really like it. They are only open certain hours so check this out http://www.cafemadrid.net It's pricey but really fun and a neat place to eat!
