please don't call child protective services!!!

The mosquito's here are pretty annoying and since we don't have screens on our windows, they enter our home frequently. Abbey is their feast of choice. My friend told me about a repellent called VAPE. It is a little red box that has I guess poison and a little fan that repels the mosquito's. The box does have english on it but vague instructions and NO warnings about anything. Last night I put it in the kids room and when Ryan put them to bed he closed the door. About midnight, Cloe woke up with a BAD cough that sounded very deep and she couldn't breath. I had a feeling it was from the repellent and I also thought she was going to have an asthma attack. Keep in mind we don't have a car and would have had to wait for either the ambulance or taxi to get to our house if something serious were to happen. I immediately took the little red box out of their room, checked the other kids for a pulse and Ryan was able to get her to calm down. She is fine now but at school, Ryan's friend told him that those are poison and your suppose to let them fill the room for an hour and then open a window before anyone enters. why open a window if your trying to keep mosquito's out? We'll just go back to Dad smashing as many as he can find before the kids go to sleep.
