One year anniversary of the CAS

the whole purpose of us living in Italy was for Ryan to go to school. While there he attended the Florence Academy of Art and has since started his own school/academy with the same curriculum and ideas. The CAS stands for the Center for Academic Study & Naturalist Painting and he runs it out of his studio in Provo.
My main job for the night was to make 9 gallons of soup, Clam Chowder, white chicken chilli and Vegetable. I did my job and upon arriving with the soups, I was so impressed with what Ryan had put together. The place looked so nice, the food was good and he had arranged a program of proffessional violinists, a speaker from George Wythe University about education derived from the classics and the importance of mentoring and then Ryan gave a speech about his school and why they study the way they do. It was also the gallery stroll for downtown Provo so we had a good crowd come through. Hopefully he'll get some more students.
