I tried.  I tried to resist doing a post of just Aiden.  I can't.  She is just too dang cute.

yep, she's nursing.  She seems to do the acrobats when she is tired.

excuse the nudity and piles of folded laundry, I just love her little body.

lacrosse

Brody played club lacrosse this spring for the Gulls.  He loves lacrosse and it's the perfect boy sport.  Running and hitting people with sticks.  He had a great season and is an aggressive player.  Luckily, Grandma and Grandpa Brown were able to make it to 2 of his games before going on their mission.

mother's day

thankful to be blessed with these kids.
Charlotte really wanted to go play with her friends but she wasn't allowed to because it was Sunday but she thought it was because it was Mother's Day so she told me "I hate Mudders Day." and I told her "go cry at your dad, it's Mother's Day."
My mom and I :) child photographer=blurry photo.
9:00 church means no sleeping in or breakfast in bed and I had to teach relief society.  But besides that, it was a nice relaxing day with no poopie diapers.

Abbey's school always has a 5k at the end of the year.  I'm always impressed that all the kids actually do it and also at how fast they do it.  Abbey didn't know we were coming until she saw us cheering her on along the course.  She said it made her feel so good inside when she saw me yelling so loud for her, yeah, I'd say it was worth the drive all the way out there :)
Brody really wanted to cheer her on and since it's the end of the school year I pulled him out of school and brought him.  He was a good sport and ran with Abbey.  I told him to go her pace so she wouldn't get tired and then he was a good sport and ran with the two little girls for the final stretch.
popsicles make it all worth it.

quick trip to CA

My baby sister, Crystal got married April 28th in Oceanside, CA.  Ryan had already made plans to attend the Portrait Society of America conference that weekend in Atlanta so it was just the kids and I.  We flew down Friday morning and came home Monday afternoon.  It was a wonderful and relaxing trip.  The kids LOVED it as did I!
They were all so excited to be flying on a plane and it was only 1.5 hours so they didn't have time to get bored.  Aiden slept for most of it thank goodness.

ahhh, the beach/heaven.  We spent Saturday at the beach, it was a little windy at times but I"m so glad we went.  I love the beach, it just makes me so happy.

morning cuddles in the hotel.  We were supposed to have more beds in our room but we managed.  The three older kids shared a bed sleeping sideways.
There goes the brie and groom.  He is a Marine so they were married on the beach at Camp Pendleton.

Brody was a groomsmen, Cloe and I were bridesmaids, Abbey and Charlie were flower girls.  They loved being part of the ceremony and loved even more the food and dancing at the reception.
Brody eating a fish taco in grandpa's pool.
Abbey my dog lover was sad to leave Nitro and Carver.
